CAMPSITE # 15 - We've just gotta have Hope...

Still no word from the mechanic. And in actual fact, we're trying very hard to not think about what could possibly lie ahead.

Our temporary car is a relation of Charlie Troopcarrier, a third cousin twice removed, falling under the Toyota family tree. I have given the Midnight Blue Toyota Camry a name which I believe is quite well suited to its purpose. In Tom's word "It's quite a crappy name" but hey...Her name is Hope. Because sometimes, you've just gotta have Hope. All you need is Hope. We're travelling in Hope.

Hope's no Charlie but she's behaving herself alot better than Charlie currently is. I just hope all will be ok...

We spent the day at the Australian War Memorial today, and it was really quite interesting. We were there for a good 4 hours, being that it's Rememberance Day tomorrow they were doing the trial run. A must see for anyone visiting Canberra, it was truly outstanding and makes you really thankful for who we are today and what our ancestors fought to preserve.

As you can read, still rather deflated after yesterday's debacles... I just hope we get some good news to share tomorrow....
Might need to stretch out that National Cross your fingers for the Troopie Day to tomorrow as well...
